Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Jingle Bells

Emily sang "Jingle Bells" all the way to church this morning. She just randomly started singing the whole thing. I didn't realize she picked up on "Jingle Bells" so fast. We really didn't sing it very often. I was focusing more on "Away in a Manger" and songs like that. So, I was really surprised to hear her singing that considering we didn't sing that very often.

Emily is doing really well when we sing together. We're working on the songs that they sing in primary (since I play the piano I definitely know which songs to practice). When we get to primary though, she doesn't sing. So, one day, she'll sing in primary I'm sure of it.
