Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Feast of Carols

So at the very beginning of December (yes, another late post, I don't think I got the full 24 hours in a day in December.) I went back to good old Show Low to go watch Feast of Carols. It's a performance the high school puts on. Miranda was one of the two queens and Matthew was able to be her little prince. This is one of the few ok pictures I got. Here they are dancing. The camera (since it wasn't mine I didn't know how to really work it) was not cooperating. Plus it doesn't help that it was dark and they did lots of moving around.

Matthew and I practiced his song together a few times. He was the best little singer. Here he is singing with the group of little princes and princesses. The pair on the right belong to the right queen and king (thus they are all in purple and white). Matthew and the other little princess belong to the king and queen on the left (thus the red and black). It was fun to go see and brought back some memories (both pleasant and otherwise :).
