Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Homemade Tortillas

How about a homemade tortilla recipe. I tried the tortilla mix about a year ago, that didn't turn out well. After that I just gave up on homemade tortillas. Then I read something about uncooked tortillas that tasted better than the normal tortillas already cooked in the bread section. I didn't know where to look. But, I found it. In my Wal-Mart it was in the refrigerated mexican food section. That of course was next to the yogurt, sour cream, etc.

At Safeway though I couldn't find it and had to ask. It was next to the eggs. Anyhow, it has to be refrigerated so that greatly reduces the places it could possibly be. Try it out. It is definitely much better and tastes like homemade tortillas (or pretty darn close). Our family is hooked.

We only get the uncooked tortilla's- we get them at Costco cause they seem to be a lot less expensive than at the grocery store. They are super yummy!
