Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Relief Society Meeting

My wonderful husband watched the girls for me while I was able to watch the Relief Society Meeting tonight. It was wonderful. I think that one of the things that struck me was Elder Uchtdorf talking about creating things and how that brings us happiness. Creating things, both in creating our children and creating beautiful things for our home and many other things. I love creating. Teaching my children, crafting, making nice dinners, keeping my home clean so we can enjoy being home, the list is endless. I just can't wait until General Conference. Life is good. There are friends to enjoy and make, children to love and teach and play with and create some wonderful activity to do together. I have a wonderful husband whom I enjoy spending time with and is very (VERY) patient with me. Life is good, isn't it.
