Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Cans (the favorite toy)

It's amazing that stacking the cans never gets old. The toys get old, but definitely not stacking the cans. Blocks, that was so yesterday. Here is Meredith's new way of stacking the cans.

Handing them to Daddy! "Here you go Daddy." Hmmm, I wonder how many he can hold.

Ok, let's see if he can handle another one.

What will we come up with next?

Okay, so she is taking all the fun out of STACKING cans. Tell her (from an experienced professional) that the best cans to stack are tuna cans. Also, let her know how much we have in common. It must be the fact that we are both the second child. It gives us a special connection. awww...I love Meredith.

Jen-
How cute are your kids! And isn't it amazing how much money we spend on toys and stuff that kids will hardly even play with, when we have cans that they love to play with!
