Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

My Towel Craft

I finally finished the project I've had on my list for quite a while now. I finally did some pink and brown towels for my girls. The bathroom I have a lot of brown colors in it, so I decided to have brown towels with pink ribbon. I put the ribbon on the hood and at the edges of the towels. It turned out really well. I made Nathan's sister-in-law a set of brown and pink towels too. For her set and Emily's set I did the pink and brown stripe and Meredith got the pink and white polka dot.

My finished project.

A picture of one of the towels, just because.

My model for the striped towel (Thank you Emily for sort of cooperating).

My model for the polka dot towel (maybe Meredith will cooperate next time).
