Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Playtime (With tired cranky girls)

We found some new friends. They are so close to our ages, and we're thrilled. They are 3 1/2 and 20 months and Emily is 3 in a week and a half and Meredith 16 months. The girls had so much fun at the park with them. Emily just followed the 3 1/2 year old everywhere and screamed when I was trying to drag her out the door. I was really nervous about how well they would do. They both woke up today yawning and I didn't sleep very well either (Nathan, you can no longer turn the thermostat down at night. Sorry. I'm not sure if that is the problem but there is a very suspicious pattern.) So, cross your fingers for a good night sleep (not that the girls kept me up, but we all woke up very tired.) YEA! for new friends.
