Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Growing (Still!)

My girls are getting so big, I told them to stop growing so they would be my baby girls forever, but they didn't listen. They're still growing! And much too fast. They are so tall too. Emily fits perfectly into her 3T pants (with the elastic as tight as it will go because she's so skinny) that I bought her a couple of weeks ago, and if she has one good growth spurt like she just barely did I'm going to have to get 4T pants! When I went to buy Emily her 3T pants I bought Meredith some pants to match, of course, I wasn't thinking and bought her 12 month pants. I was thinking I'd at least have a few months in them. Yesterday though, I put her pants on and put her on my hip so she had one foot in front of me and I saw it. The pants were short! So, I'm very busy putting away 2T and 12 month clothes (with some help from two little girls who think it would be better just to scatter them).

I bought orange juice containers, and graham crackers yesterday. I was in a hurry, so when I go grocery shopping today I'll have to buy candy and we'll make the haunted houses. I'm excited!
