Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Swimming

This was Rebecca's first time in the pool. She was the best little learner. She remembered a lot of what she'd learned and by the time we went swimming again she was very comfortable with putting her own face in the water. She's even beginning to blow bubbles, which is absolutely adorable because it's more like blowing raspberries and she'll start in the water and then blow them at me. She thinks it's funny because I laugh because it's cute.

My sister was with us attempting to help me teach the girls to swim. She's given us up in despair.
