Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Meredith's Birthday

This post is over a month late, but life has been busy. Busier than normal anyway. But she had a very happy Birthday. I took her to the zoo, than McDonalds, than to the grocery store to get party food, and then we had an ice cream pie and presents when Daddy got home. Emily said it was the best Birthday ever. So, I figure we made it a fairly special day. I love the very dramatic faces that Meredith makes. She's beginning to be a very good helper. I mean, before she could be when she wanted to be, but she's starting to get out of the phase and just be a good helper. Which is such a relief to me since Emily will be starting school in the fall.

Anyhow, here is Meredith and her very dramatic faces on her special day.
