Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Hiking (Emily's First Hike Actually Hiking)

Here we are as a family. We ate before we went to the water. I wore the backpack for the first part (the harder part) and then Nathan wore the backpack the way back. Of course we had to bring out the camera after I was done. Nathan insisted upon wearing it on the way back.

Super Daddy.

Emily (Nathan took this picture. He did a great job.)

Mommy and Meredith playing in the water next to the waterfall.

Daddy and Emily. The water was cold.

We had lots of fun and went with some friends of ours. It was a nice shorter hike for Emily (a little over 1 1/2 miles).

p.s. I tried to make it so my pictures would be safer (by not being able to left click or right click on them), but I can still get the picture and blow it up just fine (just found out it was a lot easier to see it in Mozilla Firefox because I tried it in Internet Explorer and it took me a whole 2 steps more.) Here is the website if you'd like to try it yourself, but I just find not being able to look at the pictures annoying. Sorry. One day I'll fix it on this post. Oh, and there are some other cool tutorials on this website as well. Still worth a look.
