Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Memory Game

Everyone needs to play...This is Fun!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember--it can be funny, weird, awkward, random, etc.!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember dressing you up just like my cabbage patch doll, hair in pig tails w/ bows and all. I also remember playing school with you, & Jessica, & Jace & Payton. Carrie (our cousin) and I were the teachers. Man, that was a long time ago.

How about getting the girls all dressed up and going up provo canyon for pictures. Then me taking emily to the mud and allowing her to fall flat in it. Then we chased after our children snapping pictures while one of us had Meridith strapped in front. What a day.
