Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Swimming

This was only our second time swimming as a family in the pool. We had some difficulties getting the right pool key. But, problem solved and we're having a lot of fun. We exhausted the girls. Meredith could hardly eat her sandwich before taking a nap and Emily WANTED to go to bed. That's fine by me though.

I made a mistake on blowing up the dragon. After I blew it up I threw it in the middle of the Living Room and said "Roar". It wasn't a very big roar either because I was out of breath. I just said it like I would say any other word. Anyhow, Meredith was scared and came to me as fast as she could to get away from the scary dragon and then clung to me. Sorry, Meredith.

Meredith likes her sunglasses. She is all smiles when I put it on her, and then she takes it off. She doesn't like it on for very long, but it puts a smile on her face. She's so cute. She wouldn't keep it on long enough at the pool for Nathan to get picture, so I got a picture while I was giving her a bath.

Emily looks thrilled to have those sunglasses! I need to take Emily to the pool so I can start teaching her to swim. They begin teaching the kids early when they live in hot areas like the valley or Tucson because there are pools EVERYWHERE!
