Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

First Tooth Gone

On August 29th Emily lost her first tooth. She started complaining a couple days before that her tooth was hurting her when she was chewing her food. I asked her if she could wiggle her tooth and she said YES! We were telling her that when she lost her tooth she was to put it under her pillow so the tooth fairy would come. She promptly told us she didn't believe in tooth fairies, I have no idea where she got that. So, Daddy told her to write a letter to the tooth fairy. This is what she came up with.

When she was climbing in the car on Wednesday she was excited that she had lost her tooth while eating her lunch. The school gave her a little treasure box to put her tooth in and this is her just before she went to bed.

And when she woke up, she did find her tooth replaced with something good under her pillow after all.
