Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Baby at Home

Baby's First Bath
It was literally her first bath at home because we were at the Birthing Center. I just LOVED not having anyone trying to wisk my baby to the nursery. They weighed, measured, did the eye ointment and vitamin K right there in front of both Nathan and myself. There was no hurry and the only reason she left my arms for more than the brief time it took to do these few things was to let my Mom, Nathan and the girls hold the baby, or a much needed nap with the baby near.

Holding and Loving the Baby

My brother. For some reason I didn't get pictures of anyone else holding the baby from my family. But I saw Dallin and nobody else was around to save him. So I told him I'd take the baby AFTER I took a picture.

I love that you got to have a water birth at a birthing center! Congratulations! And I'm so glad everything went well for you.
