Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

The Picnic

I feel incredibly blessed right now to live near my sister. So near, in fact, that we are in the same ward. It's fun. We went into the mountains, the day after our zoo trip with my sister and her husband.

It was a momentous occasion where Rebecca tried her first cheeto (spelling this escapes me. I ask google and all it can tell me is how to spell "cheetah". Well, duh! but what about cheeto?)
Cute face. She loved it! I'm sure she's wondering why it took us so long to give her one of those.

And here is the last picture we took while we were out there. (Note to self - PLEASE take more pictures next time!)
