Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Baby #3

Today is the day! I'm headed off to my ultrasound. Those that know me and don't necessarily check my blog ask me if I want a boy. Those that read the blog ask me if it really is a boy. To the second, I'm not sure. It was just a fun test to take. To the first, I would love to have either a boy or a girl. 3 girls would be just as exciting to me as to have 2 girls and a boy. I just can't wait to know for sure. Now baby, please cooperate. :)

I've already had two ultrasounds. One because they couldn't hear the heartbeat and the second to double check the due date. It's probably about time to post those.

The first ultrasound. About 10 wks.

The next two are from the second ultrasound 4 days later.
In the meantime, we're moving things around for baby. I know we still have 4 months, but we just don't know if we'll ever get a better time to do it with school, whatever may happen in pregnancy, and two other children. So, I feel like the whole house is topsy turvy ad it's slightly frustrating not to be able to just move everything myself. Emily is going to have to give up her headboard for the baby. We're going to let her participate in helping us put the crib together and let her give something to the baby herself.

Emily is ecstatic to be able to sit in the back seat. She keeps asking me to sit in the back and I tell her when the baby comes she can sit back there. Her answer, "I want the baby to come now."
