Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

"I Love the Baby in Your Tummy"

The girls seem to understand about the baby. Especially Emily.

Me: Do you love Meredith?
Emily: Yah. I love baby in your tummy.

She's also drawn several pictures of the "baby in the tummy". There's always a circle around the baby for my tummy. I guess she's copying the ultrasound pictures I've been showing them.

And I love listening to them play together. (Meredith was too quiet for me to hear what she was saying from the other room.)
Emily: No, Meredith, I'm the teacher.

...15 minutes later

Emily: I don't want to be Swiper!

Have I mentioned how much the girls love Dora and how much I do NOT.
