Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

First Day of Preschool

This was Emily's first day of school. We stuck with tradition and did the whole picture thing and everything else. I went with her this time and Nathan stayed home with Meredith. She just wanted to play with the toys at first, but after they started doing centers and she was coloring and gluing she LOVED it. They did a little chia pet out of a potato. We'll have to try that here and then post pictures for you. :)

Emily is really loving preschool. She loves going to "school", she won't let me call it "preschool". Part of that is she loved to watching the Signing Time School DVD. She loves to wear her backpack and she signs all of the time about school. They also do a lot of signing at preschool. (At least I think so since she comes home with a lot of signs, some of them new to her I think.)
