Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Pacifiers

My kids would not take a pacifier when they were babies. But they're sure fun now.

I may never have a child who takes a pacifier (my mother didn't and my first 2 haven't) so these I just let the kids play with. Emily got them out of the utensil drawer because I had just washed them.

When I got Meredith out of her crib this morning she was a little chatterbox. She had all sorts of things to say. She's starting this much earlier than Emily did. She does say "I want more" pretty well. At least I can understand it. Other people may just here the "mo" part at the end.
