Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

Terrible Twos

And so it begins...our Rebecca has learned the joys of the Terrible Twos. Such a handful and so incredibly cute to boot. She's keeping me on my toes and we just adore her.

One Month

Our Precious Kristina is now 1 month old. She's been a source of joy and many sleepless nights. She is just beginning to learn to sleep through the night. We have had a few nights where she has "slept through the night". Meaning she has slept 6-8 hours straight. Twice I've been able to catch that same 6-8 hours with her. It's been fabulous. I don't mind waking up with her especially when I get to cuddle with her while we nurse and she goes right back to sleep. She's been a good little baby and we're starting to figure things out. I love the handful of smiles she has given me thus far in the last few days. (These were smiles, not air)

Here she is the day she was born on our way home from the Birthing Center.

Here she is March 1st, her one month Birthday, in the same outfit. She fits in it much better.

Kristina, we love having you in our family.
