Live In the Moment

And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Elder Ballard’s talk May, 2008 quote by Author Anna Quindlen speaking of her children)

- I put this on here to remind me to take time to enjoy the little things in life, or to enjoy the moments that make some of Life's Precious Memories.

1st Annual Jones' Reunion

We were supposed to go on the skyride for one of our activities, but we got rained out. Here's part of our group pretending we're up there anyway. Um, there's no way they'd let that many people on the chair.
Emily and Nathan with Emily's most beloved 'brella'.
So instead, we went to the Pioneer Museum. Here's our family in front of the train. Yes, I know you can't really tell it's a train.
Grandma stood on the bale of hay to take a picture and the girls thought it would be great to climb on up too. It was a little wobbly.

Playing Sunday Games with Daddy

I love Sundays. I love Sundays with early church because then we have the whole afternoon for the girls to spend with Daddy. Well, mostly. He plays games with them, bakes cookies, makes us dinner. We're so lucky to have him.

Photos

Here's Rebecca being patient with Mommy and the camera, yet again. Nowadays she just starts smiling at the camera. I think It'll just end up being a habit for her. :)

And then she let me know in her own little way that she was DONE.

So Animated

Rebecca just gets more and more fun every day. She's such a wonderful, beautiful baby. She is sleeping through the night and just in case she doesn't, she wakes up for a quick snack and is down till morning. When she wakes up at 6 ready for the day and I still want to sleep a little longer I can put her in her swing with the mobile and she's a happy camper until 8:30 or so. Yes, somehow I lucked out with another fabulous baby. Maybe I told them in heaven, "Look, I'll be your mother, but you have to sleep at night. Ok?" Ha!

First Pics caught on Camera

I got these pictures just before Rebecca's 6 week birthday. It's so hard to get the first smile. She would look at me and give me her big open mouth smile and turn her head (first picture.) I got lucky with the second picture.
This picture I told Nathan that she's already giving the "daddy smile".
And this picture, just plain cute. I love that cute little tongue sticking out.
